Assess businesses against the standard, under your own name.

Tier 3 Verified requires an independent assessment. Certified assessors perform them, sign them, list in the public register, and set their own prices. There is no revenue share and no territory — this is a certification, not a franchise.

Why this exists

A standard assessed only by the person who wrote it is not a standard — it is a service with a document attached. Independent assessors are what make Tier 3 mean anything to the business displaying it, and they are the only way conformance assessment scales past one calendar.

That is stated plainly because the conflict is real: CIONAOD Inc. maintains the standard and also sells assessments against it. Certifying people who will compete for that work is the main way that conflict gets reduced.

What the programme covers

Module 01

The method

Battery design, the six weighted dimensions, capture discipline, and why verbatim recording under stated conditions is the whole product.

Module 02

The error taxonomy

Classifying findings into the seven classes, choosing the class that determines the correction, and separating correctable from uncorrectable.

Module 03

The four evidence classes

Assessing a business's canonical record, source enumeration, currency and boundaries against the standard's requirements.

Module 04

Conduct and limits

What an assessor may and may not claim, how to write findings that survive challenge, and the language that voids a conformance claim.

Module 05

Supervised assessment I

You run a full assessment on a real business. It is reviewed line by line and returned with corrections.

Module 06

Supervised assessment II

A second assessment, assessed against the same criteria. Passing both certifies you.

The standard

Why no revenue share. A licence that taxes every assessment gives assessors a reason to work outside the standard, which defeats the point. The standard's value comes from being used. Certification is priced once, renewal covers maintenance, and what you earn is yours.

Apply to the opening cohort

The first cohort is deliberately small — every supervised assessment is reviewed personally, and that does not scale past a handful at once. Applications are read in the order received.

Questions

What does assessor certification cost?
$1,400 CAD for the programme, which includes the assessment materials, two supervised assessments reviewed in detail, and listing in the public register on completion. Annual renewal is $300 and requires two logged assessments and agreement to the current version of the standard.
What do I get to do with it?
Perform and sign Tier 3 Verified assessments under the Answer-Engine Conformance Standard, list yourself in the public register, and use the certified assessor mark. You set your own prices and keep everything you charge — this is a certification, not a franchise, and there is no revenue share.
Do I need to be an SEO or a marketer?
No. The work is investigative and documentary rather than promotional: run a defined battery, capture verbatim, classify errors against a fixed taxonomy, and check a business's record against four evidence classes. People who are careful with evidence do this well. People who are used to promising rankings tend to do it badly.
How long does it take?
Most of the programme is self-paced and takes ten to fifteen hours. The two supervised assessments depend on your own scheduling with real businesses; four to eight weeks end to end is typical.
Can I be decertified?
Yes. Signing a Tier 3 assessment that does not meet the requirements, promising outcomes the standard forbids promising, or failing to log two assessments a year all result in removal from the register. Removals are recorded publicly.
Why would you certify people who compete with you?
Because a standard assessed only by its author is not a standard, it is a service with a document attached. Independent assessors are what make Tier 3 mean anything, and they are the only way this scales past one person's calendar.
Stated plainly

This certification is new. It carries no accreditation from any external body, it is not recognised by any regulator, and its value depends entirely on whether the underlying standard is adopted. Nobody can honestly tell you today what it will be worth in two years.

What it does give you now: a defined method, a fixed taxonomy, materials to work from, a signed basis for the assessments you perform, and a listing that says an identified person stands behind them.
